Notes

'Daselay’s Sand' peony (Paeonia 'Daselay’s Sand') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it, and it has sturdy stems and single cupped flowers with dusky dark pink flares on apricot pink petals.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Nodding onion, and Obedient plant.
