Notes
'Daydream' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Daydream') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer. It grows fast into a clumping plant that stands 35 to 47 inches tall. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Ageratum, Hidcote lavender, and Franz Schubert garden phlox.
