Notes

'De Laun' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'De Laun') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its tall, upright stems carry fragrant, double red blooms in early summer. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Lewis bred it.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Hairy aster, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
