Notes
'Dee Runk' common box (Buxus sempervirens 'Dee Runk') is a shrub for hedge, privacy screen, accent, and formal garden uses. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to wet soil of most types. It grows slowly into a dense evergreen that tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees visit its creamy white flowers.
Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Christmas fern, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
