Notes

'Deep Rose' yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'Deep Rose') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and its fragrant flowers attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Cut a few stems for bouquets.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Blanket flower, and Little bluestem.
