Notes

Desertbells (Phacelia campanularia) is an annual for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. Cool weather suits it, and it can take a light frost. This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deep blue, bell-shaped flowers have golden anthers that stick out. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. The stems and leaves have fine hairs, so you may want to wear gloves when you handle it.

Pairs well with Ballerina zinnia, Elfin mother of thyme, and Heavy Metal switchgrass.
