Notes
Fernleaf phacelia (Phacelia bipinnatifida) is an annual for pollinator gardens, shade gardens, and ground cover. Cool weather suits it, and it can take a light frost. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet soil of most types. Its light-green leaves are deeply lobed, and round lavender-blue flowers open in spring and again in summer. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Blue stem goldenrod, Aromatic aster, and Lady fern.
