Notes
'Devoted Greta' peony (Paeonia 'Devoted Greta') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, rose-red flowers attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The stiff, strong stems hold the blooms upright.
Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, First Frost hosta, and Stargazer lily.
