'Dewey Blue' bitter switchgrass (Panicum amarum 'Dewey Blue') is a grass for borders, meadows, rain gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or clay soil. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall with an arching habit.
