Notes
Proso millet (Panicum miliaceum) is an annual for the food garden and the annual bed. This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and stays slim, spreading only 3 to 6 inches. Plants flower in mid summer, though they are not grown for the blooms. Its narrow shape lets you tuck it into tight spots.
Pairs well with Crestar Mix zinnia, New Zealand spinach, and Zucchini.
