Notes

'Diamond Head' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Diamond Head') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, cupped flowers are rose-mauve to bright magenta with silver-white tips. Stems stand up well but do better with support. Jack Nordick bred it.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Sensitive fern.
