Notes

'Dian Jiang Chun' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dian Jiang Chun') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers are pale pink with a ring of stamens around a tuft of darker edged petals. They bloom in mid to late spring and have a subtle fragrance. The upright plants reach about 28½ inches tall.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Prairie dropseed, and Grape hyacinth.
