Notes

'Diana' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Diana') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. Its pure white flowers have no eye and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast and tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Goldenrod, Bloodgood Japanese maple, and Casa Blanca lily.
