Notes

'Diantha' peony (Paeonia 'Diantha') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It stays dwarf and bears single, fragrant, pale peach pink blooms that attract bees and butterflies. Professor Arthur Percy Saunders bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Creeping phlox, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
