Notes
'Distant Drums' rose (Rosa 'Distant Drums') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant blooms are a mauve and tan blend that shifts color from day to day. Bees visit the flowers, which appear in late spring, summer, and autumn. Dr. Griffith J. Buck bred it in 1985.
Pairs well with Baby's breath, Stargazer lily, and Niobe clematis.
