Notes

Dittany of crete (Origanum dictamnus) is an herb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Fragrant pink to purple flowers open from early to late summer. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Plant it where you can enjoy the scent.

Pairs well with Berggarten sage, Mediterranean spurge, and Wallflower.
