Notes

'Aureum' oregano (Origanum vulgare 'Aureum') is an herb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, loamy or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The cascading stems spill over edges and carry pinkish-purple flowers in summer and autumn. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant plant.

Pairs well with SuperBlue lavender, Sage, and Stella de Oro daylily.
