Notes

Marjoram (Origanum libanoticum) is an herb for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. It is grown for its fragrant, bluish green leaves and pendulous, hop-like pink flower heads that appear in summer. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Give it excellent winter drainage so it grows well.

Pairs well with Lavandin, Lemon thyme, and Berggarten sage.
