Notes

'Diva' magnolia (Magnolia sprengeri 'Diva') is a tree for specimen planting and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This tree likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant, blush pink flowers open from early to late spring. Butterflies and birds visit it. Its upright form grows tall, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Excelsior Spanish bluebell, and Silver Edge Japanese pachysandra.
