Notes

'Silver Edge' Japanese pachysandra (Pachysandra terminalis 'Silver Edge') is a groundcover for borders, foundation plantings, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. This evergreen is fragrant and drought tolerant, and bees visit it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give it room to creep, because it spreads slowly.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Astilbe, and Lady fern.
