Notes

'Donna Jean' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Donna Jean') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Pink flowers open in early summer. The blush pink petals are laciniated and feather-edged, with light yellow staminodes that recurve. William Brown bred it.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Black Hero tulip, and Bunchberry.
