Notes

'Dorothy Sevedge' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Dorothy Sevedge') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, rose type flowers are clear light pink and fade to white as they age, with a collar of golden stamens around a delicate pink center. Stiff stems hold the dark green foliage upright. Col. Jesse C. Nicholls bred it.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Tickseed, and Cinnamon fern.
