Notes
'Douglas Wolfe' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Douglas Wolfe') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears double white flowers late in spring. The blooms open after many other peonies have finished, so they extend the season. Robert William Tischler bred it.
Pairs well with New Jersey tea, Blue grama, and Stargazer lily.
