Notes

'Dover' tulip (Tulipa 'Dover') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The dark pink-red flowers open from early to late spring on stems about 22 inches tall. Each bloom has a bluish black base edged in yellow, and D.W. Lefeber & Co. bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Claire de Lune peony, and Ernest Markham clematis.
