Notes

'Drusus' peony (Paeonia 'Drusus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant red double flowers have frilled guard petals and face outward. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows upright to about 33 inches and is a vigorous grower with good potential for cutting.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Autumn Frost hosta.
