Notes

'Duftikuss' peony (Paeonia 'Duftikuss') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double magenta blooms are pleasantly fragrant and stand out from a distance. Strong stems grow upright to 37 inches without support, and bees and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
