Notes

'Dune' caryopteris (Caryopteris 'Dune') is a shrub for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant flowers.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Creeping thyme, and Evening primrose.
