Notes

Dwarf Solomon's seal (Polygonatum humile) is a perennial for ground cover, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Greenish-white flowers attract bees and birds. It creeps slowly, so give it time to fill in a patch up to 18 inches wide.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Lungwort, and Yellow trout-lily.
