Notes

'Early Charm' peony (Paeonia 'Early Charm') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Semi-double cream flowers have a blush of pink and cerise red flares at the center, and the upright plant does not need support. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Paul and Esther Simmons bred it.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Incrediball hydrangea, and Indian grass.
