Notes
Earth loosestrife (Lysimachia terrestris) is a perennial for wetland gardens, bog gardens, and pond edges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes moist to wet soil. Yellow, star-like flowers with two red spots at the base of each petal bloom on erect stems from early to late summer. It spreads rapidly by underground stems, so give it room.
Pairs well with Broadleaf arrowhead, Broadleaf cattail, and Sedge.
