Notes
'Easy Lavender' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Easy Lavender') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its bright lavender Japanese-type blooms measure 5 to 6 inches wide on 34 to 36 inch stems. The dark green foliage looks good all season, and the plant stands heat well. Robert William Tischler bred it.
Pairs well with Knapweed, Cinnamon fern, and Spanish bluebell.
