Notes
'Eco Artist Palette' bird's foot violet (Viola pedata 'Eco Artist Palette') is a perennial for rock gardens, pathways, border fronts, and small containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It blooms in spring with sporadic rebloom until frost, and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by. The reflexed petals are lilac-blue on the bottom and purple on top.
Pairs well with Snowdrop, High-bush blueberry, and Orange lily.
