Notes

'Ed Bowman' peony (Paeonia 'Ed Bowman') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. William Henry Krekler bred it, and it bears fragrant, double pink flowers late in the season that bees and butterflies visit. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Nodding onion, Blue grama, and Bobo hydrangea.
