Notes
'Edna' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Edna') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, light pink flowers are well formed and have a pleasing fragrance. They bloom in mid-season on stiff stems, so they hold up well in a vase. George E. Winchell bred it.
Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Sweet pepperbush, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
