Notes

'Eewee' peony (Paeonia 'Eewee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, single flowers are deep red with two rows of petals and yellow anthers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies and bees visit this tall, vigorous plant.

Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Nodding onion, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
