Notes

'Eldorado' rose (Rosa 'Eldorado') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has dark green leaves and fragrant orange blend flowers that bees visit. It is free-flowering, with blooms from late spring into early autumn. Jack E. Christensen bred it in 1923.

Pairs well with Ox-eye daisy, Indian grass, and Hardy hibiscus.
