Notes
'Elizabeth Foster' peony (Paeonia 'Elizabeth Foster') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Large rose-pink flowers have a flat cup shape and a sweet fragrance, and bees and butterflies visit them. Saunders bred it in 1941.
Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Carnaval De Nice tulip, Sedge, and Nodding onion.
