Notes
'Embraceable' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Embraceable') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. The clear deep pink blooms have two rows of broad guard petals and red tipped stigmas. Each stem carries three to four buds.
Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Blue Muffin arrowwood viburnum, Little Beauty tulip, and Ostrich fern.
