Notes

'Emily Carr' rose (Rosa 'Emily Carr') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plants reach 4 to 6 feet tall and carry glossy, medium green leaves. Medium red, semi-double blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and again in autumn, and bees visit them. Claude Richer bred it.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Raspberry Sundae peony.
