Notes
Encrusted saxifrage (Saxifraga longifolia) is an evergreen perennial for containers and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and prefers alkaline to neutral soil. The evergreen rosettes give you year-round interest in a pot.
Pairs well with Carnation, Baby's breath, and Kentucky bluegrass.
