Notes

'Engelsgesicht' rose (Rosa 'Engelsgesicht') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The orange-pink blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. W. Kordes & Sons bred it in 2010.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Oakleaf hydrangea, Niobe clematis, and Japanese forest grass.
