Notes

'Eric William' peony (Paeonia 'Eric William') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The red blooms are mildly fragrant, and strong stems hold them up well in a vase. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Dale Heinzman introduced it in 2003.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Stargazer lily.
