Notes

'Erotikon' peony (Paeonia 'Erotikon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Single, pale red flowers with crinkled petals open early in the season. The upright plant stays about 18½ inches tall and has fernleaf foliage.

Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Limelight hydrangea, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
