Notes

'Eruption' tulip (Tulipa 'Eruption') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are dark purple-red and open from early to late spring. Plants reach about 24 inches tall, so they make good cut stems. M. Snoek bred it.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Raspberry Sundae peony, and Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea.
