'Estafette' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Estafette') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers open in early summer in crimson and violet-red with silvery edges. Auguste Dessert bred it in 1925.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Little Beauty tulip, and Sensitive fern.
