Notes
'Estelle' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Estelle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are large and pale wild rose pink. A large group of golden stamens fills the center of each bloom. Mrs. Walter Campbell Lyman bred it.
Pairs well with Indian Summer rudbeckia, Switchgrass, and Garlic chives.
