Notes

'Ete Indien' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Ete Indien') is a shrub for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are purple red with darker purple red flares around the center. They open in mid-season and have no fragrance. The round petals keep their color well, and the clear green foliage looks fresh all season.

Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Chokeberry, and Indian grass.
