Notes
'Adrienne' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Adrienne') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers open light pink in early summer. Purple splotches mark the base of the petals, and golden stamens fill the center. It stays under about 35 inches tall.
Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Toad lily, and Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper.
