Notes
'Corsage' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Corsage') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Harold Entsminger bred it. Large semi-double pink blooms with red flares open in early summer and carry a rich rose fragrance. It grows up to 4 feet tall, and its stems are strong enough to hold the heavy flowers.
Pairs well with Siberian iris, Toad lily, Anglojap yew, and Stargazer lily.
