Notes
'Eternal Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Eternal Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant lavender-pink flowers have darker flares, and the new leaves emerge burgundy before turning green. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Roger F. Anderson bred it.
Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
